SHORING AND SHOTCRETING

Pipe Piles

Pipe piles provide an alternate solution when faced with encroachment issues in shoring designs. In conjunction with shotcrete, the use of pipe piles can retain walls during temporary and permanent shoring works. As well, pipe piles installation can be completed with minimal disturbance to the surrounding areas and requires minimal access to complete the work. Kani is the local go-to contractor when it comes to pipe pile installation.

Shotcrete and Tie Back Anchors

Using high pressure spray, the application of wet shotcrete can provide high early strengths. Shotcrete can be used to retain unstable soil or rock, is typically applied in panels, and can be used in conjunction with pipe piles and/or tieback anchors. This type of work requires detailed planning and proper sequencing of work. Kani has been involved in many deep excavation projects which involve application of shotcrete and tie back anchors.
