Kani is an award winning company that started in 1989 to provide solutions to geotechnical and foundation problems. Based in Richmond, BC, Kani has developed a reputation for taking on the most challenging anchor installations and seismic upgrades. Over the past 30 years, we have worked alongside owners, general contractors, and construction engineers on projects such as hydro dams, universities, schools, hospitals, bridges, highways, buildings, and airports across Canada and around the world. With Kani's highly skilled team, specialized equipment, well developed construction techniques, and engineering know-how, we assure control of the project, schedule, and budget from start to finish.

We are committed to serve our clients' needs - from trial estimates and competitive bidding, through construction engineering and final execution, all the way to project evaluation. Our expertise covers a wide range of specialty construction work such as marine structures, hydroelectric dams, earth retaining structures, micro-pile foundations, compaction, jet grouting, and specialty drilling projects.

Kani is a contractor member of The International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC), a member of the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), and a founding member of the International Society of Micropile (ISM). Through these organizations, Kani continues to contribute towards improving best practices in our industry.

We are the proud recipients of the Concrete Bridge Award presented by the Portland Cement Association for our work on Big Qualicum Bridge. Project highlights include the four foundations of the twin arches that are supported by 200 high capacity inclined Dywidag micropiles, all of which required top-of-the-line problem solving and execution to complete.
