OVERBURDEN DRILLER

  • Experience (min. 1 year) in hydraulic drilling and overburden and rock drilling is preferred, however we could potentially offer training opportunities for those with less experience but have a strong desire to learn and demonstrate excellent work ethics
  • Have anchoring, grouting, and drilled pile experience
  • Familiar with operating and maintaining various types of drilling rigs
  • Must have a valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to lead and instruct a drilling crew and work in a team environment
  • Willing to work out of town, long hours, and on weekends
  • Able to start immediately
  • Forklift ticket an asset
  • Legally able to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number.

ANCHOR GROUTER

We are looking for an experienced individual (min. 1 year construction experience) to work as an anchor grouter for our foundation drilling teams.

If you fit the following criteria, please do consider sending us your resume:

  • Experience (min. 1 year) in running Hydraulic Grouting machines
  • Heavy lifting of grout bags is involved – able to lift up to 90 lbs
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Good communication skills
  • Responsible, reliable, conscientious, takes initiative, and eager to learn
  • Willing to be a good team player
  • Able to show up to work everyday and on time
  • Willing to work overtime and occasional shifts on weekends
  • Legally able to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number
  • Able to start immediately
  • Forklift ticket an assist

DRILLER’S ASSISTANT

We are looking for an experienced individual (min. 1 year construction experience is preferred) to work as a drill helper for our foundation drilling teams.

If you fit the following criteria, please do consider sending us your resume:

  • Heavy lifting is involved -- able to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Pay attention to detail and to safety
  • Not afraid to work in a dirty environment
  • Be a good team player and able to take instructions well
  • Able to show up to work everyday and on time
  • Willing to work overtime and occasional shifts on weekends
  • Legally able to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number
  • Able to start immediately

JUNIOR FIELD ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced individual (min. 1 year construction experience is preferred) to work as a Junior Field Engineer for our foundation drilling teams.

If you fit the following criteria, please do consider sending us your resume:

  • Perform field testing and QC inspections
  • Manage and log on-site activities and communicate with other contractors
  • Track quantities, monitor project costs and revenue, issue RFI, coordination and tracking of extra works
  • Work with our own superintendent to coordinate site activities and assist in tasks
  • Order materials and manage/coordinate equipment rentals
  • Other related duties as required
  • E.I.T. Designation from Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia “Engineers and Geoscientists BC” is required
  • Completion of University Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering, preferable with a minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Sound understanding of WorkSafe BC requirements, heavy construction practices, contract administration and project management
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Pays attention to detail while working under time pressure and maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Holds a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License (or equivalent)
  • Able to start immediately
