Tension Testing
Tension load is applied to the anchor, to provide quality assurance and quality control, ensuring the anchor meets the anchor capacity as required. Generally, tension testing would follow the criteria as expressed in the Post-Tensioning Institute manual.
Compression Anchor Testing
Anchors can also be tested in compression, however this would require extensive setup and a different testing criterion.
