Kani has worked closely with The Vancouver International Airport (YVR) throughout the years. YVR has been named Best Airport in North America for a record 10-years in a row and is rapidly expanding with increased capacity requirements. From the mid-1990’s to the present, Kani has installed approximately 1,200 mini-piles and over 1,000 seismic drains, both on the inside of the terminal buildings, where limited headroom access posed significant challenges, as well as on the outside, working airside and in between airplane activities while maintaining constant vigilance against Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
